When ever I color in an image I always print it out a few times first on scrap card that I have left over from other projects. I test my colors out on these images first before I commit to the actual stamps I am going to use on my card. You might be thinking it adds loads of extra time to making the card but honestly I make so few mistakes once I have picked my colors and know exactly where each one is going and I end up being a lot quicker getting the coloring done :) Well thats my advice and I'm sticking to it........hehehe.....
I had a fantastic demo today in the Art and Hobby in Tallaght and am still buzzing from it. So no bed for me for a while!!!! Plenty of time for Internet craft hunting :)
Happy Crafting Everyone.

Yes they are lovely, I love the one with red shoe too! I think use of complimentary colours are important too. Sometimes you see scrap book pages where the colours used are nothing to do with the photo's! It's a great idea of yours. I do something similar, scribbling colours on paper and pushing background papers under them to see how it works. And ribbons or embellishment s x
ReplyDeletesuch a cute image and I love your colour combo, great idea to do a draft one first xx
